New friendship
As I meet new people, the number one question asked is, "What is your favorite thing in your travels"? The answer is not what most expect. I smile and say, "It is the people. So many initial encounters become life-long friendships". In the two years of being on the road, many have invited me into their homes for a home-cooked meal or a stiff drink. Others become tour guides of their city. Some have met me in their favorite, local restaurant. Oh, the stories we have shared with each other are treasures of a lifetime.
