48 States in 48 Months creates memories for so many - our followers and the folks we encounter across our great nation. Recognizing each person has a very unique story, I intend to bring various stories to light so we can all participate in each other's lives - no matter the distance between us. At times, there is a story out there which needs special recognition. This is that story. You can MAKE A DIFFERENCE! As you read this, if you want to participate in their story, I will share with you how to do so at the end of the story.
Road tripping it through Louisiana February 2021, 48 States in 48 months has chosen
'Be a Blessing in Claiborne Parish'

This may look like a typical Feed Store as you are driving down a rural road entering the small town of Homer, Louisiana. It is far from that, as it has been converted into a Community Center to help those in need in the area. Every Monday and Tuesday, individuals and families come to buy, receive, and donate.
Even in the smallest of communities, the need to serve others exists. Carol's vision grew from two tote bags for one family to serving over 350 families last year, including Christmas gifts for over 65 children. I spent a morning inside the center watching people coming empty-handed and leaving with arms full.
